There are less than 60 days left in this year, which means tax season is approaching. These are a few steps you should start taking to make sure you are prepared.
1 - Organize Personal Information (personal information is necessary to start the tax preparation process)
* Names, dates of births, social security numbers (for yourself, spouse, and any dependents)
2 - Gather Income Documents (income documents help determine eligibility for deductions or credits)
* Forms: W-2, 1099, 1099-K, 1099-MISC, 1099-INT, 1098-T, and other income document/records, including but not limited to virtual currency
3 - Gather Expense Documents (expense documents are needed when adding up itemized deductions)
* Receipts and/or Expense spreadsheets
4 - Choose Tax Filing Professional or Software
Tax season doesn't have to be chaotic or hectic. If you have questions or need help getting ready, contact IInd Chances, LLC at 317-721-3149 or send us an email at info@iindchancesllc.com
